Use ESO compliant names for QC parameters
Many of our current QC parameters are not ESO (1618) compliant because they need to serialize to hierarchical FITS keywords that have 8 characters per level.
Attached is ESO-DFS-DIC.MUSE_QC, the MUSE QC parameters. I like their methodology, so shall we use that as an example? E.g. replace QC.PHOTOM_STDEV_ZPT
with QC.PHOTOM.ZPT.STDEV
.
These seem to not be strictly ESO compliant either, because ESO-044156_6DataInterfaceControlDocument.pdf 4.6 states that the statistical modifier (STDEV
, MIN
, MAX
) etc should be added to the previous identifier, that is QC.PHOTOM.ZPTSD
(they prescribe SD
for standard deviation). I'll do some experiments.
@verdoes what do you think?
