Where do MEFIMAGE etc in PRO.TYPE come from?
The "Intermediate and Final Data Imaging" table in section 5 of the DRLS has a PRO TYPE
keywords column. These originate from column I in the DataItems tab of the MICADO Data Flow Framework spreadsheet.
The PRO TYPE
column contains terms like MEFIMAGE
, TABLE
, CAT
, MEFTABLE
, IMAGE
. It is unclear where these terms come from. I could not find whether they are ESO terms or our terms. They have some intuitive understanding, but are these terms defined somewhere?
It seems that putting these terms in PRO TYPE
is incorrect. ESO-VLT-DIC.PRO states that the value of PRO TYPE
can be
either "TEMPORARY", "PREPROCESSED", "REDUCED" or "QCPARAM".
Plan for now: I'll recreate the (standard imaging part of) the DataItems table (both in extended form like on Google and simplified for the DRLS). I'll put the proper ESO terms in the PRO.TYPE keywords and put the current terms somewhere else.
@verdoes can you shed some light on these terms?
